Common questions

Plain answers, no script.

Most of these are the questions we'd want answered if we were calling a heating, cooling, or plumbing company we'd never met. Browse by topic — and if your question isn't here, we're answering the phone.

No. 01

Scheduling & arrival

How fast we can get to you, what to expect when we do, and how the call flow works.

  • For non-emergencies, most calls are seen within 24–48 hours. Emergencies (no heat, no hot water, gas leak suspicion, water actively spreading) are dispatched same-day during business hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, weekends closed.

No. 02

Pricing & estimates

What things cost, why we don't quote sight-unseen, and how to lock in the discount you saw on the site.

  • Because the honest answer is 'it depends' — system size, refrigerant type, electrical panel capacity, line set length, code requirements, and existing damage all move the number. We give you a fixed written quote at the in-home estimate, then we honor it.

No. 03

Equipment & what we install

Brands, system types, and the calls we get most often during heat-pump season.

  • We service every major HVAC brand on the Olympic Peninsula. We're a Mitsubishi Electric ductless dealer and stock parts for American Standard, Hisense, Daikin, Bosch, Rheem, Trane, Carrier, and Goodman. Don't see your brand? We probably still service it — call and ask.

No. 04

Financing & payment

How to spread the cost across a real budget without paying more than you should.

  • Yes — through Synchrony Financial. Qualified buyers receive 0% APR for 18 months on the purchase. Apply online in minutes through our partner portal — most decisions are instant. Full details on /financing.

No. 05

Warranty & after-the-install

What backs the work, how long it lasts, and what to do if something goes sideways.

  • Manufacturer warranties on equipment (typically 5–10 years on parts, longer on compressors). Eagle Pipe labor warranty on top, with extended labor coverage included for Eagle's Nest members. Terms are written into your install paperwork — no fine-print surprises.

No. 06

Emergencies

What counts as an emergency, what to do until we arrive, and the safety bits we beg you to remember.

  • For active emergencies (no heat in winter, no hot water, suspected gas leak, active water leak), call (206) 765-6851 during business hours for same-day dispatch. After hours, leave a message — we triage emergencies first thing the next business day. For an active gas leak, leave the property and call your gas utility immediately, then call us.
